The results are in, and the optimum space in your home to make changes is:
THE MIND, BODY & SPIRIT AREA
This area of your home holds the energy of your overall well-being and the heart of who you are.
If you’re feeling untethered and overwhelmed by life, then this is your space to work on. It’s also a great space to work on if you feel like you’re plodding through life and missing out on what you truly value. Read on to find out where this space is in your home and what changes to make.
Your home is an integral part of writing the story you want to tell.
Every area of your home is associated with an area of your life.
If you think of your home divided into 9 squares or “guas” as they’re referred to in feng shui, the Mind, Body & Spirit area is the square in the middle of your home. Listen in below for more details on identifying this space and for the #1 question to ask to create the change you crave.
P.S. Feng shui is the fancy word for the art and science of creating a space that is balanced, in harmony and oozing with intention. Bagua Map is the fancy word for the 9 squares or guas each representing an area of your life.
So where do I Start?
Watch the video below to find out where the Mind, Body & Spirit area is located in your home and the question you should be asking about this space.
Now that you know where the Mind, Body & Spirit area is located, here are the changes to make in this space:

1
SUBTRACT
If you don’t love it, need it or use it, then it’s stirring the pot of overwhelm. It’s time to make a plan to sell, donate or recycle these things. Remember, you don’t have to do it all at once. Focusing on a single drawer or a corner of the space will get the chi moving. Be sure not to overlook anything that’s not working or in disrepair. This is the center of your home, and what drains your home’s energy will drain your energy.
2
SHIFT
Sometimes you have things that you love, need and use, but they’ve landed in the wrong space. Your son’s Lego creation in your bedroom or last year’s tax files on your kitchen counter. As a rule of thumb, match the purpose of an object with the purpose of the space. Check your Mind, Body & Spirit area and see if you need to walk a few things back to their proper place.

ADD
Being true to you is your birthright. And what better way to remind yourself than to add objects to the center of your home that reflect your core values. Value family? Add a family photo you adore. Value beauty? Add an eye-catching piece of artwork. And while you’re at it, be sure to include objects that honor the element of earth which is at home in this space. The earth element is represented by things that are brown or tan in color, square or rectangle in shape or come from the earth. All of these earth elements will create a sense of groundedness and stability that will be the chamomile tea to your overwhelm.

Once you see how your home is reflecting your underlying issues, you become empowered to create a new story…your very own LOVE STORY of joy, healing, triumph, abundance and authenticity. ~ Chara Rodriguera, client & Love Story participant

Hello there!
Talking about your home is personal. It’s only fair that you know a little about me.
Meet your Space Doula
I’m a crystal-believer, small talk avoider, chick flick kind of gal. And you won’t see me at the next cocktail party, either.
You will see me hanging out on my back porch with my husband Gerry and our puppy Oliver working on my persuasion skills. Trying to convince Oliver my hand isn’t a chew toy and my husband that changing just one more thing in our house is 100% necessary.
Walking my talk is important to me. I won’t ever ask you to do something that I haven’t done myself. I’ll hold your hand as you decide what to do with the pictures of your ex shoved in a shoebox under your bed. And celebrate with you when the unexpected check arrives in the mail, your book lands on the NY Times best-seller list or the blind date turns out to be your soul mate.
Your personal space is the window to your heart. And when it’s aligned with you and your dreams, it propels you forward to an abundant life.
xoxo
